Pulp Love

An indie psychedelic-funk band based in Miami, FL.

Pulp Love started in 2021 to bring the worlds of psychedelic rock, jazz and new age funk together at the University of Miami. The 5-piece band records almost every show they play to be preserved as live albums, because no two shows are alike.

In the summer of 2023, the band went on tour up the eastern seaboard, performing shows in cities such as Orlando, FL, Atlanta, GA, Asheville, NC, and New York, NY.

The band continued to perform in Miami through May 2024 before the members graduated from the University of Miami. Before going their seperate ways, they recorded an album of all-new tracks that are gradually being released through asynchronous collobaration.

Arby

Live Looping/EDM Project

As Music Production Lead for EQ Collective, U Miami's DJ club, Ryan had the opportunity to lead studio production classes. Through EQ Collective, Ryan was involved with the planning and execution of Afterglow Music & Arts Festival. It was here he first took to the big stage as Arby to provide a hybrid set of live looping and his produced music.

Beyond the stage, Arby has a single on Spotify that was recorded with the same methodology as his live looping performances. Done in a live take using experimental recording techniques and live synthesizer manipulation, Don't Think features an ethereal blend of analog and digital techniques.

Frost School of Music

At Frost, Ryan explored his multi-instrumental interests by performing as an electric / upright bassist, lap-steel / slide guitarist, and songwriter.
